As we enter week 2 of Vintage 2020, surprisingly the autumnal weather has descended quickly on all of our South Australian vineyards. The cool weather is good to slow down the ripening process and the cold nights keep the natural acidity high in the wines to retain the fresh crisp finish our wines are known for.
Early this week we harvested our second vineyard for Vintage 2020. Our St Petri's Eden Valley Riesling. Picked in the cool early morning. Our winemakers Elena and Rosie continue darting from vineyard to vineyard between McLaren Vale, Eden Valley and Barossa double checking the flavour is perfect for all the fruit.
